How to take viagra?
Viagra comes as a film-coated tablet to take orally. Swallow the pill whole with a full glass of water.
Viagra Jelly should be consumed orally and allowed to dissolve in the oral cavity before it is swallowed.
Viagra should be taken as needed about 1 hour before sexual activity. However, it can be taken anytime from 30 minutes to 4 hours before sexual activity. Some form of sexual stimulation is needed for Viagra to produce an effect.
Do not take Viagra more often than once a day or within 24 hours of taking any other ED prescription medication. If you have certain health conditions or are taking certain medications, your doctor may advise you to take sildenafil less often.
50mg is the commonly recommended dosage. In case you are paying for the drug yourself, you can buy it in the 100mg size tablets and split the pill into 50mg doses. 50mg and 100mg pills usually have almost the same price.
Sildenafil can be taken with or without food. However, taking Viagra with a high fat meal may reduce its absorption and effectiveness.
Viagra does not prevent pregnancy or the spread of sexually transmitted diseases such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
It is possible that Viagra will not work the first time. If it did not work for you on one occasion, try again on another day. You will learn how well Viagra works for you only through your personal experience. The first few times may be charged with emotion or anxiety. If after a few separate trials, you do not get the results you expect, discuss this with your doctor.
Inform your doctor if sildenafil is not working well or if you are experiencing side effects.
